PlayStation 2 Official Magazine-UK September edition is now on the shelves and has an article about equipment for the disabled gamer. It's written by Kim Richards from Future Magazines.

Kim opens her article with these comments "For people with disabilities, playing PS2 can be difficult or even impossible. But from adapted controllers to sight and sound mods, the technology is out there to make gaming more accessible."

The article reviews several different types of PS2 controller. It starts with a description of Dream-Gamer, goes on to highlight Switchcraft designed by Barrie Ellis and then the Quad Controller produced by Ken Yankelevitz.

It's a good read so why not pop along to the store to pick up a copy.

A few weeks ago Disability Challengers organised a fund raising event in Farnham in aid of the new children's play centre.
