A few weeks ago Jane got in touch and asked about a Dream-Gamer unit for her son Callum. His birthday was in July and she wanted to surprise him.

We sent Callum the cap controller system but later on it sounded as though a different control system would be better and that's when we thought about a mini-joystick system for PlayStation. Actually it's very similar to the mini-mouse joystick we use for PC access using Dream-Mouse.  

Mini-joystick connects to the left controller on the PlayStation handset. It can be used instead of the cap controller or Pistol Gamer to control the game. Some people will find this easier to use as it works and feels just like the left joystick on the actual PlayStation controller.

Users can hold it in the right or left hand or it can be mounted in a holder. The holder works best when it is screwed onto a tray or something solid. Alternatively, for a less permanent fixing it can be velcroed in place.

Callum and Jane will be testing it out when they get back from holidays and Jane has promised to send us her comments which I'll publish here as well.

I'm also sending one to Barrie at Oneswitch.org. Barrie helped us fine tune the original Dream-Gamer. Hopefully within the next week or two we'll have some good user feedback.
